You will be picked up at your hotel around 7:00 am and transferred to Tarangire National Park for your wildlife-viewing experience in this magnificent park. Tarangire is famous for its large collection of baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population, and variety of bird species, not to mention one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country.
After breakfast, you will head towards the Serengeti National Park. Leaving the highlands behind, you'll descend into the heart of wild Africa, the Serengeti, with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. You'll head to the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and, therefore, attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. You'll enjoy a game drive en route to the lodge.
After having breakfast, you will depart for the transfer game drive. You will be able to view some wildlife while en route. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is located in northern Tanzania. It is home to the expansive and volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and the Big Five (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino). Large herds of wildebeest and zebras migrate across its plains annually. Additionally, livestock belonging to the semi-nomadic Maasai tribe can be seen grazing alongside wild animals.
You will start the day early and head down to the crater floor for a fantastic wildlife experience in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. After an exciting game drive, you will have a picnic lunch near the hippo pool. Then, you will have a short game drive before leaving the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for Arusha. We expect to return around 4:00 pm, but we are flexible and can accommodate any schedules or unforeseen circumstances.
