Arusha to Tarangire National Park

B L D Main destination: Tarangire National Park

Drive through the "Land of Giants", Tarangire National Park. Drive across the endless golden savannah along the Tarangire River. This national park is known for its elephants and sprawling baobab trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the picnic site and take in the remarkable view of the Tarangire River. Keep a close eye on your lunch, as the monkeys won’t hesitate to get away with a tasteful treat if given the chance. The action-packed game drive will end late in the evening. You will now head towards your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

Overnight: Suricata Boma Lodge
02

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

B L D Main destination: Serengeti National Park

We depart early after breakfast, head across the Great Rift Valley floor, up the escarpment, and traverse the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Enjoy the pleasant and scenic drive as you experience the beautiful scenery and breathtaking vistas on your way to the Serengeti. Arrive in the Serengeti for an afternoon game drive until late. Lunch is taken at one of the picnic sites, most likely at the Naabi Hill Gate, where you can stretch your legs. Visit the famous Maasai bomas to get close to the Maasai community. Participate in traditional Maasai dances and walk in the Maasai village. Their culture is well known for hunting lions, and to be considered a warrior, they drink raw cow blood (though these traditions are things of the past, except for drinking blood). You can also do some souvenir shopping at the local Maasai market.

Overnight: Land of Nature Camp
03

Serengeti NP to Ngorongoro

B L D Main destination: Serengeti National Park

An early breakfast will lift your mood, and a sunrise game drive through the Serengeti plains will provide the best opportunity to see lions, leopards, and other predators in action. The sunrise in the Serengeti is breathtaking, with the rising sun appearing to set the plains on fire. We explore the infinite Serengeti grasslands after lunch at the picnic site. After that, we will set out for Ngorongoro to your choice of accommodation, where a freshly prepared dinner awaits. Ensure you get some good rest and recharge yourself for another eventful day.

Overnight: Farm of Dreams Lodge
04

Ngorongoro Crater

B L D Main destination: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, we’ll continue the game drive in the Seronera area, and in the afternoon, we’ll proceed to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. During the great migration, a million wildebeest, each driven by the same ancient rhythm, fulfil its instinctive role in the inescapable cycle of life. This is a frenzied 3-week bout of territorial conquests, mating, and survival of the fittest as 40-kilometer (25 miles) long columns plunge through crocodile-infested waters on their annual exodus north. A brief population explosion replenishes the species that produces more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000-kilometer (600 miles) pilgrimage begins again. You also have a chance to visit a Maasai boma.

Overnight: Suricata Boma Lodge
05

Lake Manyara to Arusha

B L D Main destination: Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from your accommodation and head to Lake Manyara National Park. After a short market tour, you will proceed to Lake Manyara National Park, where you will take many photos. Bird lovers will find Lake Manyara an absolute delight, with many birds to be seen. Since it's a birding destination, you will not only be amazed but also surprised by the large flocks of flamingos and many other varieties of birds. The park is a photographer’s playing field and provides some of the finest game views in the world. After enjoying the tour, you will be driven back to Arusha, where the tour will end.
