We will pick you up from your hotel. After meeting your guide, your adventure begins with a journey to Tarangire National Park. This remarkable sanctuary is known for its towering baobab trees, bushy savannahs, and seasonal marshes, creating a stunning backdrop for wildlife viewing. Tarangire is especially famous for its close elephant encounters, offering unforgettable sightings. Alongside elephants, the park is home to buffalo, zebras, and wildebeest, often followed by predators such as lions. Leopards are occasionally seen, while cheetah sightings are rare but possible. Throughout the drive, you will enjoy breathtaking landscapes and observe wildlife from the open roof of the safari Jeep. As the afternoon comes to an end, you will exit the park and continue to your camp, where a comfortable and relaxing overnight stay awaits.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

B L D Main destination: Serengeti National Park | Non-alcoholic drinks included

After enjoying your breakfast, you will begin your journey to Serengeti National Park. The drive takes you through the picturesque highland farmlands of Karatu and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you descend from the highlands, you enter the vast open plains of the Serengeti—the true heart of wild Africa. Your route leads to the Seronera region in central Serengeti, one of the park’s richest wildlife areas. The Seronera River flows through this zone, providing a vital water source that attracts a wide variety of animals found throughout the Serengeti ecosystem. Upon arrival, you will stop for a picnic lunch before continuing with an exciting afternoon game drive across the Seronera plains, where incredible wildlife viewing awaits.

Serengeti National Park

B L D Main destination: Serengeti National Park | Non-alcoholic drinks included

After breakfast, you will begin your game drive along the Sogore River Circuit, a route that winds through the plains south of the Seronera River and offers chances to spot lions, Thomson’s gazelles, topis, ostriches, and cheetahs. After your morning exploration, you may also visit the Serengeti Visitor Centre near the Serengeti Seronera Lodge. In the afternoon, you will continue along the kopjes circuit, which circles the Maasai kopjes in a counterclockwise direction. These ancient granite outcrops act as small ecosystems, often holding shade and water pools after rainfall. They attract plenty of wildlife in the dry season, with lions frequently waiting near the water sources for prey. The kopjes are also home to notably large cobras.

Upon reaching the crater rim, you will be greeted with a stunning panoramic view of the vast caldera below. You will then proceed to your camp, where a comfortable and relaxing overnight stay awaits.

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park. The park’s main attraction is Lake Manyara itself, a haven for countless waterbirds. Bright pink flamingos are especially eye-catching, along with cormorants, pelicans, storks, and many others—over 400 bird species have been recorded here. The park is also known for its tree-climbing lions, usually spotted in the central and more open areas. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. Later in the afternoon, you will exit the park and continue back to Arusha or to the airport for your onward travel arrangements.
