Fly from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park (Seronera Airstrip)

B L D Main destination: Serengeti National Park

On arrival at the Seronera Airstrip, our driver will pick you up to start your adventure in the famous Serengeti National Park, also known as "The Endless Plain”. This park is well-known for its healthy stock of resident wildlife, particularly the Big Five; lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is home to around 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles that join the wildebeests’ trek for fresh grazing. Listen to the exotic sounds of over 6 million hooves pounding the open plains of Serengeti —just like how you imagined African wildlife to be. After a long day of safari, you will drive to your accommodation for evening leisure and overnight at Land of Nature Camp.

Serengeti National Park

B L D Main destination: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will have a full-day game drive in Central Serengeti. Apart from the large mammals, Serengeti is also home to gaudy agama lizards and rock hyraxes scuffling around the surfaces of the park’s isolated granite kopjes. Wide varieties of dung beetle can be found, and around 500 bird species have been recorded —ranging from the outsized ostrich and bizarre secretary bird of the open grassland to the black eagles that soar effortlessly above the Lobo Hills. Later in the evening, you will drive to the camp for evening leisure and an overnight stay in the lodge.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

B L D Main destination: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will head to the Ngorongoro Crater. You will descend 600m into this magnificent crater for a full-day game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world's most densely crowded African wildlife areas. It is home to an estimated 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhino. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a wide variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalos, elands, warthogs, hippos, and giant African elephants. Another big drawcard to this picturesque national park is its dense predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopards, which sometimes require a trained eye to spot.

Overnight: Suricata Boma Lodge
04

Tarangire National Park to Arusha

B L D Main destination: Tarangire National Park

You'll drive to Tarangire National Park which is famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and having the largest concentration of elephants in the country. It provides unique chances to observe the interaction between elephant families. You will do a game drive through the park, depending on the reported sightings of animals (mostly predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards as they are harder to spot). Herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, etc. are plenty to see throughout the park. You will leave the park and return to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
