Arusha to Tarangire National Park

B L D Main destination: Tarangire National Park | Non-alcoholic drinks included

We will pick you up from your hotel, and after meeting the guide, chef and the other clients, we will drive to Tarangire National Park (2 hours), which is famous for its diverse landscape. The park is particularly known for its abundance of ancient baobab trees and for having the largest concentration of elephants in the country. It offers unique opportunities to observe interactions among elephant families. We will do a game drive through the park depending on where they have reported sightings of animals (mostly predators, lions, cheetahs and leopards - as they are harder to spot). Herbivores like giraffes, wildebeest and zebras are plentiful throughout the park. After lunch, we will proceed with the game drive and exit the park at around 4:30 pm, then head to our campsite for dinner and sleep.

Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park

B L D Main destination: Serengeti National Park | Non-alcoholic drinks included

After breakfast, you will drive from Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti, which takes about 6 hours (including all stops) as it transits through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We'll stop at the Ngorongoro Crater in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Arusha region and will also make a brief stop at the gate and viewpoint to take in the breathtaking view of the crater (20 minutes). Go on an optional visit to a Maasai village to visit and explore the culture of the great Maasai community, known for hunting and killing lions to be considered a warrior, and drinking raw animal blood. These traditions, though, are a thing of the past. Arrive in the late afternoon and do a game drive in Seronera (center of Serengeti) until the late evening. Experience the sunset in the Serengeti while getting up close to wild animals. If you're lucky, you may see a predator hunting or on a kill. Later, head to the Seronera Campsite.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Highlands

B L D Main destination: Serengeti National Park | Non-alcoholic drinks included

After an early breakfast, we will go on a morning game drive to spot the many animals. In the afternoon, we will head to the camp for lunch and to pack. We'll do a game drive while we exit the Serengeti. We'll head to Simba Campsite (2 hours), which is located near the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll be able to spot animals from the campsite.

Overnight: Budget camping Inside Serengeti NP
04

Ngorongoro Crater

B L D Main destination: Ngorongoro Crater | Non-alcoholic drinks included

After an early breakfast, we will descend the crater on a journey to find the black rhino. Rhinos are the hardest animals to spot in the beautiful crater because it is a floor crater. After lunch, we will do a game drive and then ascend the crater to return to the camp. We'll pack for the trip to the camp near Lake Manyara National Park.

Overnight: Budget camping Outside Ngorongoro Crater
05

Lake Manyara National Park

B L D Main destination: Lake Manyara National Park | Non-alcoholic drinks included

After breakfast, we will go to Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its large number of flamingos and its tree-climbing lions (though they are rarely seen). We will do a game drive viewing plenty of birds. If you're lucky, you will spot the famous tree-climbing lions. Visit the hippo pool for a close look at the hippos as well as the hot springs. While doing the game drive, you'll view plenty of animals like buffaloes, wildebeests, warthogs, vultures, eagles, monkeys, etc.

Materuni Waterfalls & coffee tour

B L D Main destination: Materuni Waterfalls (Highlight) | Non-alcoholic drinks included

Today, you will visit the waterfalls, which are a walk of around 40 minutes. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga, their village life and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you will see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim, so don‘t forget your swimwear! After having enjoyed the scenery, you slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You will also have the opportunity to taste our local banana beer – definitely not to be missed! The coffee tour is traditionally accompanied by Chagga songs and dances – a fun way to immerse yourself in the local culture. Before you say goodbye, you can savor the coffee you made and appreciate the views of the surrounding rainforest.
