Customer Reviews
EXCELLENT Based on 69 reviews Posted on Lorna BVerified 3 day safari Booked a 3 day safari to lake manyara, ngorongoro crater and Tarangine as part of our honeymoon. Had an excellent time. Joshdreamlands were great at communicating via WhatsApp, always fast to respond. Hotels that we booked via them were excellent. We were even lucky enough to see the big 5 on our safari!! Definitely recommend booking via this companyPosted on HM PVerified Tarangire och Ngorongoro via Josh Dreamland This was my third safari. Good information for reservation process and content of booking through Josh Dreamland. A few weeks before trip start I heard nothing so I contacted the company about how we are going to meet up etc. After one repetition of questions I got all the answers. I would have wanted to get more information eg about shared tour meaning other companies are involved. Eg guide was not through Josh dreamland. Guide did not give much facts during the tour, a private guide would have been more engaged maybe. Guide did engage solving a problem with our booking while on the road and was very helpful to other guides when they got caught in sandbank and even were in a car accident. Our guide drove very safely. Cooks were excellent. We saw four of the big five during the two day tour and even a cheetah so I am happy with what I saw, Tarangire was great, Ngorongoro not exactly worth all driving.Posted on Erez GVerified Fantastic safari organizers. Best value amazing scenes Elizabeth recommendations were right on for our fly in and out safari. She was always available on WhatsApp and even a video call when we had multiple questions and concerns all of which she handled with knowledge and Grace. Godfri the guide super patient, a very gentle driver and knowledgeable. We saw two crossings in the northern Serengeti and lots of animals in central Serengeti. The mid range lodges were perfect and our overall experience was just excellent.Posted on Elias GVerified Lifetime Experience Have nothing to complain about! We have seen everything and every day was marked by theSurpassed others. The agency is very well organized and we felt very well looked after at all times. The organizer contacted regularly and inquired about our well-being. The chef was excellent and offered very tasty and varied menus every day.The only thing to "complain about" is that before the trip the giving of tips to cook and driver (together about 20€ per day) was not openly communicated.Posted on Meander22636802457Verified Great organization and super kindly stuff Great Organization with super kindly stuff. It was truly a nice experience and they planned everything for us, so we had no worries. Always when we had questions or problems we could write them and they helped us with everything. Pascal is the best chef and the food was all day fresh and really good. Also is Kelvin a great driver with a good sense of humor and you surely get the best shot with him. So 100% recommendation!Posted on KevinVerified Great Experience It was a very well-organized and well-executed 7-day tour. The food was perfect, and we saw all of the Big Five. Overall, perfect!Posted on dmn19Verified A superb family experience with a well organised safari & professional experienced guide Josh Dreamland gave a very professional and personal service from Elizabeth who was very helpful and promptly communicative on Whatspp. She was instrumental in setting up a perfect customised itinerary for us which included the great migration followed by an awesome adventure and animal sightings in the Serengeti. It was also interesting to visit the other landscapes of the Ngorongoro caldera, Lake Manyara and the Tarangire National Parks over our trip of 6 days & 5 nights. Safaris are expensive but Josh Dreamland appears to offer reasonable value compared to others for a truly amazing holiday and life experience. As a family of 4 we really appreciated the private safari just for us with more space to move around in the jeep. I’m so happy we did this as a family, it was our best family holiday experience by far! I’ve never seen the kids so excited and interested in all the wildlife and experience of Tanzania and AfricaOur safari guide, Godfrey, was experienced, polite and friendly who expertly knew where to look for the animals and had good knowledge about their behaviour. He positioned the jeep in the best vantage points to view the animals. He appeared well-connected and respected by other guides, which also helped locate the animals. We were surprised of how many animals we managed to see with the game drives continuously enthralling us with the variety and abundance of different animals along the way. The accommodation and meals were of a high standard and we were particularly impressed with the luxury camping in the Serengeti!Posted on Joseph TVerified Marvelous 4-day Mount Meru Hike & Stunning 7-day Safari We first climbed Mount Meru with the Josh Dreamland Safari in 4 days and then went on a seven-day safari. The organization was great and everything went smoothly. Communication with Elisabeth was always fast and straightforward. We would like to emphasize particularly positively that there were always delicious vegetarian options. Our crew guides and their teams were very friendly, competent and looked after us perfectly. A highly recommended experience – thank you!On our Mount Meru hike we were superbly looked after by Abdi and his team. Sufficient food was provided at all times, so we were never hungry. We were especially grateful that Abdi organized us two thick sleeping bags, as it got very cold in the cabins at night. During the tour he explained a lot about the nature and the different vegetation zones of the national park – so we learned a lot on the way to the summit. The ascent to the summit began at midnight. After a small refreshment we started together with Abdi and another crew member. The pace was always pleasantly slow, which was very helpful at the high altitude. Once at the summit, we were able to enjoy the breathtaking sunrise during a short rest before we started our way back.A special highlight was the last part of the hike: Together with our Ranger Jackson we went on a little walking safari and were lucky enough to observe giraffes up close – an unforgettable experience! The seven-day safari was also a great experience. The accommodations, especially the Suricata Boma Lodge, were absolute highlights. Staying in the comfortable tents in Serengeti and Ngorongoro National Park was particularly impressive: At night we could hear the animals very close to the tent – once even several buffaloes and an elephant stood right in front of them. Thanks to the staff accompanying us to the Dining Room, we felt safe at all times.During the game drives we were well looked after – drinks such as water, Coke or beer were always available indefinitely. Despite his young age, our guide Peter inspired us with his enormous knowledge: He was able to spot animals from a great distance and explained a lot about their behaviour, about differences between males and females and about the diversity of antelope species. We have learned an incredible amount from this. One day we saw cheetahs, then a leopard with two babies and then lions. We can recommend a safari with Peter and Josh Dreamland Safari without restriction! If we were to plan the trip again, however, we would make the last two days a little different: Lake Manyara National Park (Day 6) unfortunately didn't have much to offer, and even if the trip to a beautiful waterfall and the coffee tour in the mountain village on the 7. day were very nice, the journey from Arusha alone took around three hours. In addition, we didn’t see any animals that day – which is why it can no longer be described as a safari day, strictly speaking. Staying longer in the Serengeti would have been the better choice for us.Posted on KIMIKO FVerified Safari Tour Five Days There are many safari tour companies, but most of them were expensive or hard to reach. I happened to contact this company, which was highly rated on Google Maps, and they contacted me immediately, and the interaction was smooth,They suggested tours that met our wishes and answered our questions attentively. The amount was also satisfactory enough. The actual safari tour was also very satisfying! Moses, our guide, is a professional who showed us a lot of animals up close. I highly recommend this tour company!Posted on Jerry JVerified 4D3N Safari guided by Josephat Temba, Josh Dreamland Guided by Josephat Temba and had the 4D3N safari. In addition to being able to see most of the animals we wanted, Temba was a fantastic guide and really shared a lot from his wealth of experience as a guide and from his studies! Sharing about the behaviours and history of the animals and the land itself made it a very engaging and interesting few days. We were well taken care of during the safari and even during the camping portion, the tents were set up for us and warm enough during the cold nights. It was also a great opportunity to meet people from across the world! Overall a fantastic experience and happy with what we got.
